Joanne and Ellie

I was privileged to be invited to photography the wedding of Joanne and Ellie in July. Their wedding consisted of a civil ceremony at the Alameda County Clerk’s Office, and a personal ceremony at their home in Berkeley. Since they had two ceremonies, they had the wonderful idea of having two wedding rings! Both ceremonies were beautiful and joyous, and I was honored to have been a part of it all.

The slideshow is divided by ceremony, so click on the left-most icon in the navigation bar to access both albums. The albums will also automatically switch when you get to the end.

(Boring technical details: I initially thought I wouldn’t be able to make the civil ceremony, so I was armed only with my 5D and a 50mm lens. For the home ceremony, I switched between my 20D mounted with the 70-200 lens and 430EX flash, and the 5D mounted with the 24-70 and the 580EX II flash.)
